For aerospace

Built for the AS9100 audit that's already on your calendar.

Aerospace doesn't forgive paper. The auditor walks in and asks: who built it, when, on what station, against what WI revision, with what tooling, traced to what serial-numbered raw stock. Most SMB aerospace shops answer those questions by going to a binder. Ignite Lean answers them in one click — because the build, the WI version, the operator, and the traceability are all the same record.

AS9100 clause coverage

Live answers for the clauses auditors actually ask about.

AS9100 isn't a vibes-based standard — the auditor will name specific clauses and demand evidence. Document control (§7.5), traceability (§8.5.2), FAI (§8.5.1.3), risk management (§6.1 / §8.1.1), config control (§8.1.2), supplier control (§8.4), CAPA (§10.2). Every one of those is a live screen in Ignite Lean. The audit-day mode flips the system into read-only with print-to-PDF evidence packs.

  • Document control §7.5 — versioned WIs with hash-chain e-sig publish
  • Traceability §8.5.2 — kit-level, parts to parents to serial
  • FAI §8.5.1.3 — First Article Inspection workflow with sign-offs
  • Risk §6.1 — risk register with RPN scoring + action items
  • CAPA §10.2 — effectiveness verification before close
  • Audit-day mode — print every clause as a PDF evidence pack
Kit-level traceability

Every component back to raw stock. Forwards to the airframe.

A scrap event on a brake-caliper machining line in 2024 turns into a recall question in 2027. "What other parts came off that machine, on that day, traceable to the same heat-lot of bar stock?" Without the data, you reconstruct it manually for a week. With Ignite Lean, you query it in 30 seconds. Every build event ties consumed components to parent serials, parent serials to the kit they shipped on, the kit to the customer PO.

  • Append-only build event log with raw-stock serial inputs captured at scan
  • Reverse lookup: "which builds consumed this heat lot?" in one query
  • Forward lookup: "what raw stock is in this aircraft serial?" same
  • Customer-facing CoC (Certificate of Conformance) print on demand
  • Public CoC verify link — customer scans the QR, sees the chain
First Article Inspection

AS9102 FAI sign-off as a structured workflow.

First Article Inspection is the gate every aerospace shop has to clear on a new part number. Ignite Lean ships a structured FAI flow: feature-by-feature dimensional check, attached measurement evidence (photo + reading), quality-engineer sign-off, supplier sign-off when applicable. Every approval attributed by name, timestamped, hash-chain-signed. The auditor asks "show me the FAI for serial 4815" → one click.

  • AS9102 Form 1 / 2 / 3 templates pre-built
  • Feature-by-feature dimensional capture with photos
  • Attributed sign-off chain (operator → QE → supervisor → customer)
  • Hash-chain e-signature on every approval
  • Print-to-PDF the complete FAI package for the customer
Tier-supplier tooling

Customer-specific requirements without a binder.

Every Tier 1 (Boeing / Lockheed / Spirit / Northrop) has its own customer-specific requirement set — D6-82479, D1-9000, SQR-001. Custom field definitions per customer, per part, per WI section. Drop the requirements into the WI canvas as required checks; the kiosk enforces them; the build record proves compliance. No second binder to maintain.

  • Custom field definitions per customer + per part
  • Required-check enforcement at the kiosk — operator can't advance without it
  • Build record proves compliance per customer requirement
  • Customer-facing CAPA share links for joint root-cause work
  • Supplier SCAR workflow for upstream suppliers
When this is NOT for you

Honest scope.

If you're an OEM (Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop) running 5,000+ shop-floor employees and an enterprise IT team, you're a different buyer and you have different software. Ignite Lean is built for the SMB aerospace supplier — the 30-300 person job shop, machine shop, or contract manufacturer making real parts that ship to those OEMs. If that's not you, you're reading the wrong page.

  • Built for SMB aerospace suppliers (20-500 employees)
  • NOT for OEMs with 5000+ floor employees
  • NOT a replacement for PDM / PLM / ERP at scale
  • Pairs well with your existing ERP (Epicor, Plex, Global Shop, etc.)
